About Evan Reeve

Evan grew up swapping CD’s out of the juke box at his parent’s hotel in Churchill Manitoba. He picked up a guitar in his late teens and has been expanding his musical sound since. Evan meets the people of Tk'emlúps te Secwe̓pemc, a community that some say is reawakening and rediscovering who they are.

Where the Rivers Meet

I'm flying over the land of Weechi. I'm going where the rivers meet, yeah. There's no way I could know, so come on let's just go to the place where the sun shines. I can't wait, take me there. What we do, I don't care, I'm just here for a good time. Came from the land of the ice and snow, across the country to put on a show, for the people of the confluence. My name is Evan and it was nice to meet ya. (guitar music) To Kamloops, born and raised, let me tell you all of their names. I met Ed, we net, about how people adapt when they're faced with starvation. Evelyn, Ryan, Jackie, and the girls on the Shuswap Nation. Oh, the mountains where the rivers hide, I've never seen so much native pride than in the land of the confluence. My name is Evan. It was nice to meet ya. (guitar music) Hey, judge, we don't want your mind. No thanks, we'll be fine. So, my friends stay strong like you have for long, we'll get through this somehow. The world is due for a change. It's been strange for way too long now. Over the mountains where the rivers hide, I've never seen so much native pride than in the land of the confluence. My name is Evan. It was nice to meet ya. Oh, yes it was. Yes, it was.
